Rusalka
2007 Award Winner at the Wausau Festival of the Arts

Rusalka is a wood nymph, approximately 18
inches high. She is an unique piece that stands in
front of a self supporting landscape quilt.  
The front of the costume is a collage 
of yarns, threads, and scrapes of fabrics
under tulle.

  Tallulah

Her name means "Leaping Waters".  Body and Head are sculpted out of batiks.  Trimmed with a variety of mohair and decorative yarns, and accented with sequins and beads.  The base is hardened chiffon and is removable.  She stands about 18 inches tall.

Haven't you always wanted a Genie in a Bottle?  This piece is18 inches and poised on top of a brass bottle.   Sculpted from knit and dressed in imported silks and chiffons, she rises from a white cloud to grant your every wish!
